Okay - here is my story of why my husband and I need help. I lost my job (the breadwinner) last May and have not been able to find a comparable job to bring in a livable salary as well as additional things like glasses. My husband are both on high blood pressure medicine, medicine for mood disorders in addition to anxiety. I have also COPD and we both have disabetes. Mine is weight controlled now and his is medication controlled. So since we have the diabetes and glaucoma on his side it is medically necessary we get exams each year which is no problem since we have Kaiser insurance with eye coverage but it does not give us much break on lenses or frames and it would be around 300.00 just for his lenses and 300.00 for mine. So here so we are stuck and we both have woren glasses since we were children so we have to have them. So we need help we both have frames we can reuse. Our medication amounts are close to 300.00 a month. Please tell us is there anything you can do help us? Our bills are behind we already depend on our church for low cost food we roll pennies for gas. We really need someone to stop in and help us as soon as possible. We also have no family to help us - won't someone help PLEASE.
